Position Overview
These positions have direct responsibility for providing Investor Servicing to a number of the Bank’s most significant clients. Responsibilities will include liaising with clients, fund investors often at senior levels and administering all levels of the relationship. The successful candidates will also supervise a support specialist and ensure that all deliverables are met promptly and on an accurate basis. The commitment to provide clients with a high level of professional response is essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the processing and reporting of investor transactions for a portfolio of client accounts including but not limited to mutual funds, hedge funds, trusts and partnerships on a multi-jurisdictional and global market basis
- Liaising with investors and clients to monitor trade completion as efficiently as possible including Anti Money Laundering cheques, checking for cleared funds and making redemption payment
- Investigating and resolving customer, investor and internal queries efficiently and on a timely basis
- Ensuring that the Share Register reflects all investor information correctly and all amendments advised by investors
- Reviewing all trades, reports, logs and reconciliations on a regular basis, following up on resolution of any outstanding matters, ensuring confirmations and other communications are sent to investors and clients according to prescribed timetables
- Supporting the divisional new business goals by maintaining and developing long-term relationships with clients
- Keeping informed of new developments, policies and laws concerning mutual funds, unit trusts, management companies, hedge funds and limited partnerships on a multi-jurisdictional and global market basis.
Qualifications Required
- Baccalaureate degree (B.A., B.S.) or at least five years experience
- Advanced knowledge in mutual funds, hedge funds, investor servicing and customer service / customer relations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly developed listening and interpersonal skills along with the ability to set, organise and meet priorities
- Ability to perform in a multi-faceted role requiring a high caliber of numeracy and initiative
- High degree of computer literacy.
