Position Overview
This Investor Services Specialist has direct responsibility for assisting the Senior Specialist to provide Investor Servicing to a number of the Bank’s most significant clients. The responsibilities of this position will include assisting the Senior Specialist to administer all levels of the relationship. This will include ensuring all deliverables are met on a prompt and accurate basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitors and ensures accurate processing and reporting of investor transactions for a portfolio of client accounts, including but not limited to, subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, dividend payments and equalization transactions.
- Assists the Senior Specialist in liaising with investors and clients to monitor trade completion as efficiently as possible including Anti Money Laundering cheques, checking for cleared funds and making redemption payments.
- Investigates and resolves customer, investor and internal queries efficiently and on a timely basis and provides the results of such research to the Senior Specialist for response to the client.
- Reviews the relevant databases to ensure that all activity is completed on an accurate and timely basis and that all outstanding items are reconciled.
- Supports the divisional new business goals by maintaining and developing long-term relationships with clients
Qualifications Required
- Knowledge in Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Investor Servicing, Customer Service / Customer Relations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly developed listening and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous eye for accuracy and detail
- Ability to set, organize and meet priorities
- Ability to perform in a multi-faceted role requiring a high caliber of numeracy and initiative
