Position Overview
This position has direct responsibility for managing a team who provide Investor Servicing to a number of the Bank’s most significant clients. The responsibilities of this position will include; managing a team of Specialists to ensure that all deliverables are met on a promptly and accurate basis, liaising with clients and fund investors often at senior levels; liaising with other Bank divisions and offices, ensuring the highest level of client service is provided and bringing forward any improvements / suggestions to Senior Management as required. In regard to this position the commitment to provide clients with this highest level of client service and professional response is essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of the Investor Servicing of a complex portfolio of accounts including but not limited to mutual funds, hedge funds, trusts and partnerships on a multi-jurisdictional and global market basis.
- Ensures all client and Fund deadlines are met.
- Ensures all client queries are dealt with expeditiously
- Accurate review and sign-off closing sheets and transaction that are produced by the specialists.
- Manages staff within the delivery team and ensure to liaise with senior management on development needs.
- Monitors staff workloads
- Identifies training needs of staff and provide on the job training where necessary.
- Ensures all processes and procedures in the department comply with the bank's policies and procedures. This includes but not limited to AML/KYC and Hot Issues.
- Ensure trades are pended in globalshare system on a timely basis.
- Ensure trades are reviewed by end of day
- Review and monitor overdrafts and reporting cash entries to Cash Management team
- Ensures that proper controls are in place to prevent losses to the Bank. In the event of a loss, initiate process improvements to reduce the risk of loss in the future with the Senior Management
- Hold Regular monthly meetings with staff keeping them abreast of all changes within the department.
- Regular monthly client meetings, involving the team of specialists
- Liaise with training coordinator to ensure the proper training is provided to specialists.
- Ensure operating guides are in place and updated for each fund
- Escalate potential issues to Senior management team.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum Education: Baccalaureate Degree (B.A., B.S.)
- Minimum Experience: At least 3 to 4 years experience or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly developed listening and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous eye for accuracy and detail
- Ability to set, organize and meet priorities
- Ability to Manage and motivate staff
- Ability to perform in a multi-faceted role requiring a high caliber of numeracy and initiative
- Advanced knowledge in Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Investor Servicing, Customer Service / Customer Relations
- High degree of computer literacy
- Ability to lead a team of professionals
