- Bank of Bermuda Foundation will match donations, of a minimum of BD$50, on a dollar for dollar basis, made by each full-time Bank of Bermuda employee or retired employee* to recognised charities and schools in Bermuda up to a total amount of BD$2,000 in any calendar year. (Donations to churches, memberships and donations to charities outside Bermuda will not be considered for matching donations).
- A matching donation can be made for the full amount of BD$2,000 to a single charity or several different matching donations can be made to a variety of charities to a maximum of BD$2,000.
- The Board of Directors of Bank of Bermuda Foundation reserves the right to approve or decline any matching donation request from a Bank of Bermuda employee or retired employee. All matching donation requests should be presented for approval prior to the employee donation being made.
- A Matching Donations Programme Application Form (pdf, 24kb) can be obtained electronically by selecting the link above, or from the Secretary, Bank of Bermuda Foundation (David Lang, Tel. 299-5485).
- Bank of Bermuda Foundation will also consider a matching donation for funds raised by a group of Bank of Bermuda employees or retired employees and their immediate families (immediate family is defined as spouse and children only) who support events such as, sponsored walks, etc. Groups must comprise Bank of Bermuda employees or retired employees and their immediate families exclusively in order to be considered. Such matching donations will be in addition to the employee or retired employee annual maximum of BD$2,000.
- Normally matching donations will be paid on receipt of an application form from an employee or retired employee. Exceptionally, however, in connection with events such as the End to End charity walk, application may be made by the holder of a pledge sheet. A separate pledge sheet should be used, in this connection, for Bank of Bermuda employees or retired employees and their immediate families (i.e. spouse and children only).
*A "retired employee" means a former Bank of Bermuda Limited staff member who took normal or early retirement from the Bank.
