With a Fixed Deposit Account you can earn a greater return on your money than with a savings account. Our Fixed Deposit Accounts offer you flexibility at competitive rates of interest. The maturity date can be fixed from seven days up to one year, depending on your needs.

Short term

• Fixed maturity from 7 days to 1 year
• Available in BMD, USD, CAD, GBP and a variety of other major currencies
• $1,000 minimum deposit for BMD (other currency minimum deposits available upon request)

Long term

• Fixed maturity of 2, 3, 4 and 5 years
• Available in BMD
• $1,000 minimum deposit

What you should know before you apply

• Minimum age 18 years
• Non-residents must be able to demonstrate their relationship to Bermuda, such as property or employment
• Withdrawals made on Fixed Deposits prior to maturity will be subject to penalties
